My name is Sarah and I am 22 years old, and hail from a little town of about 20,000 people in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. All my life I’ve loved going different places, making memories and snapping photos along the way. I remember back when the only camera we had was one that used a roll of film, and I hated not being able to take tons of pictures because it would use up the film! To me, there’s something so special and invigorating about seeing new places and doing new things. I have definitely traveled a little bit in my lifetime so far, but not as often as I would like to! In the past several months I have done a great bit of traveling in such a short amount of time for someone who isn’t always on the go, and I would like that to become a more regular thing; always having something to look forward to and somewhere new to explore.
My passions are these:
travel
architecture
aviation
design
photography
Who knows, maybe soon I’ll be adding to this list? Probably! I’ll keep you posted! ;)

Hey Sarah, great blog, love the travel pictures and stories. Look forward to hearing about more interesting places you visit. I’m trying to visit all the continental 48 states before getting done college. I’m studying community and regional planning, hoping to get involved in revitalizing older city neighborhoods, especially near Philadelphia. Happy blogging and safe travels :)
Hi there Sarah. Its always fun to go to and explore new places, I am looking forward to following you on your adventure!
Hi Sarah and thank you for visiting my blog. I noticed you are from the Finger Lakes region of NYS and you might like my post called OMG I Think I’m Falling For You. Check it out you might recognize where I took it.
hi! great shot, I sure do! I’ve been to that park more times than I can count, and already several times this year. It’s my favorite. I am actually planning on doing a series of posts sometime this summer on my area, especially watkins glen and various state parks around here. I love it, the pictures above were actually all taken in watkins. :)
Hey Sarah, what a great thing to be doing at such a young age. Very inspirational. Thanks for checking out the Fairytale Traveler, I look forward to seeing more form you :-)
Wow amazing blog will be following this with intrest!
Thanks for liking my BuildingMyBento post about Bandung, Sarah! Is Indonesia in your travel plans?
I haven’t been to the Finger Lakes region in a long time, but I’d like to go kayaking and spelunking up there at some point. Could you recommend any particular kayaking spots?
I’ve only been kayaking a few times, once on a lake more towards the west of here at my cousin’s cottage, and another time here in my town on a little pond. But I know that a lot of people kayak on the southern tip of Cayuga Lake in Ithaca, as well as on the southern tip of Seneca Lake near Watkins Glen. You should come back and visit again! :)
