Sunsets in the Empire State

Living in a small town, I have the privilege of an expansive sky. I don’t have to go far to see the sky from earth to infinity. I have always been a lover of sunsets. They amaze me. They celebrate the glory and majesty of our creator. Last night, as we were driving home, somewhere between Binghamton and Horseheads, I was able to photograph the beautiful sunset in front of us. I could not stop looking at it. Every time the highway curved or a few minutes passed by it morphed into something new, and I was drawn in all over again.

I know that New York is not the only state to have sunsets as gorgeous as this, but if you ever get a chance to come visit, make sure you look up in the evening. Chances are, you won’t be disappointed.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. -Psalm 19:1 NIV
